Last Stop On The Underground

INDIE ROCK • GOODTUNES RELEASE 2024

Paisley Underground stalwarts Rain Parade have a new 4-song EP “Last Stop On The Underground.” Last Stop On The Underground is a fresh, concise collection of excellent new music. “Last time we recorded 13 songs at once, that’s a bit much” laughs Steve Piucci. “This time we feel it is more focused.” Produced by Jim Hill (Wall of Voodoo, The Blasters) and recorded at 25th Street Studios and Skyline Studios, both in Oakland. In addition to the core band, it features appearances by Greg and Thom Moore, and Bill Swan of Beulah. Tighter and sounding better than ever, as is always the case with Rain Parade it comes down to the songs. “Songs areeverything” says Piucci. “We like this batch.”In addition to Piucci and Roback features long-time Rain Parade guitarist John Thoman, guitarist Derek See (The Gentle Cycle, Chocolate Watch Band, Dean & Britta), drummer and drummer/percussionist Stephan Junca (Billy Talbot Band, Jon Anderson, The Hellenes, boatclub).
